Office complex shingle re-roof – Wheaton
Tommy had worked closely with the on-site building Manager with the estimation of this roof restoration project in Wheaton. After the bid was submitted, the roofing work was completed the same year by our commercial roofing contractor Chicago team. The building Owner had elected to install GAF Timberline HD Shingles replacement and elected to completely change the color of the roofing materials to slate. The re-roofing process and end results were remarkable. The client was very happy to have been within budget and on time. No major hiccups came up during the course of this project.

The Association had been previously replacing the roofing systems with new TPO roofing membranes. However, Tommy, leading the commercial roofing contractor Chicago team had suggested to the building maintenance team and Board of Directors to simply repair any wet insulation locations and apply new silicone GACO coating to the roofing system. The Association had seen a cost savings of nearly 50% on the project with obtaining the same length of warranty through the materials manufacturer as if they replaced the entire roofing system. Overall, the project was very cost effective for both us, the commercial roofing contractor Chicago IL team, and directly to the Owner.

The Board of Directors at this Condominium Association Building have had leaks for many years. The Association had finally budgeted enough money for the replacement of their existing roof. To start the project, our commercial roofing contractor Chicago IL team had to vacuum off the existing pea gravel. We then removed the existing roofing materials down to the decking and replaced with a new GAF TPO roofing membrane along with tapered insulation sloping towards the existing scuppers. The project took approximately 1 month to complete and the end result was a very clean and water tight roofing system for many years to come.
